The Walking Dead: Seasons 1 & 2: These are choice-driven games with good action sequences that almost feel like a movie, especially if players are familiar with the TV series or comic books. The earlier seasons of The Walking Dead game series feature great character arcs and atmosphere, a captivating narrative, and the possibility of replaying the game while making new choices to ensure players won't get bored with one single playthrough.Telltale has revealed that its game based on DC comics series Fables will be titled The Wolf Among Us. It is one of the first Telltale Games releases and also one of the most loved by players. Tales of Monkey Island: Released in 2009, this graphic adventure is based on the previous series of Monkey Island video games. Its dark atmosphere and its great writing contribute to make the game one of Telltale’s best. It is an amazing detective experience with a great art style and an engaging storyline. The Wolf Among Us: Based on the award-winning Fables comic books, the game consists of five episodes released throughout 20. It presents great gameplay, fun and witty writing, and pleasant graphics. It takes place in the Borderlands sci-fi universe, but the story is not hard to grasp for a non-fan of the main franchise, as many characters and the storyline itself are unique. Tales from the Borderlands: This is generally considered one of Telltale’s pinnacle experiences. The game itself didn’t quite portray the same excitement presented by the TV show and it can’t be fully enjoyed by players who have never seen an episode of the series, because it presupposes that they are already aware of some of the mechanics and stories of the Game of Thrones universe. It is a solid game with lots of actual consequences, but they tend to fizzle out towards the end. Game of Thrones: This title is an original story set in the same universe as the Game of Thrones TV show. Sadly, Telltale's game didn't live up to fan expectations, and a combination of poor gameplay controls and too many character options for players to choose from, without really getting to know them well, dragged the game down. Jurassic Park: The Game: Released in 2011, this game is based on one of the best-known movies of the 90s, Jurassic Park. The story is not very interesting, with relatively bland writing and a simpler plot compared to many of the other games developed by the company, perhaps because it's aimed at a younger audience. Minecraft: Story Mode: Telltale’s take on the Mojang’s sandbox game let players dive into a Minecraft-style blocky setting and interact with the game's blocky characters. 
The Walking Dead: Michonne: This title is about Michonne, one of the most important characters of the popular TV series The Walking Dead. The game didn’t quite receive the success of the main series and feels like a missed opportunity to pay tribute to this beloved character.Even if some games might seem more rushed or poorly-written compared to others, Telltale Games presented a series of unforgettable titles to its audience. Despite its issues, Telltale remains an icon of modern character-based adventure games. Nearly a year after its closure in 2018, due to some financial troubles, Telltale Games was acquired by LCG Entertainment, another American video game publisher based in California. Not every Telltale game has choice-driven narratives, though. Telltale Games' brand is usually associated with interactive storytelling, a format that turns games immersive experiences by giving the players the possibility to make choices in the plot. Telltale worked hard to produce content that stood apart from many other video game companies, and most of their titles heavily rely on the players’ choices. Below are some of the best and worst Telltale games, something which will hopefully provide players with an idea about which titles are worth checking out and the ones to skip.
